Mr. T loves getting vaccinated. So much so that multiple times after receiving a shot, he’s posted about it on Twitter, with turns on his iconic phrase, “I pity the fool!”
When the “A Team” actor received his latest COVID-19 booster shot and annual flu shot last Wednesday, he tweeted that he felt good. “I Thank GOD for another day!” he wrote.
I can still work out, my arm is not in Pain… And you know I Pity Pain Grrrr! Be Blessed, Have Fun, but Stay Safe Everybody!

The 70-year-old also tweeted about receiving previous COVID-19 booster shots in November 2021 and this past April. He said that he planned to keep wearing a mask and distancing from others.

“I am still going to wear my mask and keep my distance because the virus ain’t over, Fool!” he tweeted in April.
The “Rocky III” star’s pro-vaccine and pro-mask stance is still notable more than a year after COVID-19 vaccines became widely available. Sixteen percent of Canadians and 21 percent of Americans have not received their first dose.
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith raised eyebrows last week when she said that those not vaccinated against COVID-19 “have been the most discriminated against group that I’ve ever witnessed in my lifetime.” She has since said she didn’t mean to trivialize discrimination against minority groups.
Wearing a mask in most indoor spaces is no longer mandatory in Canada and passengers on federally regulated transportation like planes and trains aren’t required to be vaccinated.
But COVID-19 still runs rampant across the country. It is difficult to estimate the true number of cases, since many infections aren’t captured through testing, but between Oct. 2 and Oct. 8, 20,002 cases were reported in Canada and 226 people died. And many deal with long-term effects from the virus months and even years after infection.
Doctors still urge everyone who is eligible to get their COVID-19 vaccines, which are safe and easily available at most drugstores. Mr. T clearly thinks the jab is worth it. “My left Arm is a little sore but the Benefits outweigh the discomfort,” he wrote last week.
