Rev. Barend Biesheuvel, 75, of Verdun, Que., who served congregations in Quebec and Nova Scotia, died Jan. 28.
Rev. Michael Collison, 73, of White Rock, B.C., who served congregations in British Columbia, New Zealand and Ontario, died Jan. 19. He is survived by his spouse, Christine Easton.
Rev. Alison Etter, 41, of Glace Bay, N.S., who served congregations in Nova Scotia and as chair of The United Church of Canada’s theology and inter-church inter-faith committee, died Feb. 14. She is survived by her spouse, Tom Urbaniak.
D. Marie Fawcett, 86, of Minnedosa, Man., who served congregations in Manitoba and Saskatchewan as a designated lay minister, died Feb. 12. She is survived by her spouse, Elwood Fawcett.
Rev. Nora Fueten, 83, of St. George, Ont., who served congregations in Ontario, died Jan. 10.
Rev. Morley F. Hodder, 95, of St. John’s, N.L., who served a congregation in Newfoundland and Labrador and as a chaplain in Ontario before helping to start the religious studies department at Memorial University of Newfoundland, died March 5.
Rev. Ernest George Holliday, 74, of Wynyard, Sask., who served congregations in Saskatchewan and as a missionary in Lesotho, Africa, died Jan. 8.
Joyan Sosamma Mathew, 74, of Mississauga, Ont., died Sept. 9, 2023. She is survived by her spouse, Rev. John T. Mathew.

Rev. Robert “Bob” Zinck, 91, of Bridgewater, N.S., who served congregations in Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, died Jan. 12. He is survived by his spouse, Beatrice Zinck.
