Deaths

Rev. Samuel Stanbury Bailey, 91, of Kamloops, B.C., who served congregations in British Columbia, died Dec. 12.

Rev. David B. Black, 81, of Barrie, Ont., who served congregations in Ontario and Alberta and was a voluntary chaplain to the Ontario Provincial Police for 30 years, died Jan 2. He is survived by his spouse, Lorraine Black.

Rev. Ruth M. Butt, 96, of London, Ont., who served congregations in Ontario, died Dec. 15.

Helena MacKinnon, 87, of London, Ont., widow of Rev. Farquhar “Fred” MacKinnon, died Feb. 29.

Robin J. Rodgers, 90, of St. John’s, N.L., widow of Rev. Theodore Rodgers, died Dec. 5.

Rev John Sloan, 87, of Gravenhurst, Ont. who served congregations in Manitoba and Ontario and was a staff member at Prairie Christian Training Centre in Saskatchewan, died March 8.

Golda Ruth Squires, 78, of Embree, N.L., widow of designated lay minister Arthur Wallace Squires, died Dec. 11.
